This вЂњtiltвЂќ circuit is really awesome, and I can see why itвЂ™s such a popular feature on the Tonelux MP1a Mic Pre, being able to quickly warm or brighten a sound source has many benefits. Many of you know how I am when it comes to effects, I like to keep it simple, and I like the effect to do itвЂ™s job. So it sounds warm or cool, bright or dark, thin or thick, it just all depends on how you choose to turn the knobs. If I need more control I can use the filter section, which is very subtle, letting you tweak your sound just right.ДЄlternatively, I may have a high hat or synth lead that needs a bit more definition in the high end, very easy to do, just turn it to the right! I love how easily I can boost the low end of a kick drum without making it too bass heavy, just round it out by cutting out some of the highs. Well of course an effect doesnвЂ™t have a вЂњsoundвЂќ on itвЂ™s own, or should I say it doesnвЂ™t generate any sound by itself.Д«ut the way this plugin works with audio is pretty great in my opinion! format:В VST, VST3, Audio Units, AAX Native, AAX DSP and RTAS.They have also included high and low filter, a gain knob, polarity, and even the option to change it from the вЂњTiltвЂќ style EQ to more of a Loudness effect which will boost both the highs and the lows as you turn it to the right and cut both hight and the lows as you turn it to the left. Stuff that just lets you use your ears and find the sound youвЂ™re looking for. I mean, I just like an effect I can turn knobs on without thinking too much, basic eq, basic filter, reverb, stuff like that. OK, so you know IвЂ™m a sucker for simple effect plugins right?
